The Robin Hood esq, Dorset Gap, is a complex motorway junction but dating from another age. Five paths have been carved into the hills over years of bringing cattle & carts to meet at one spot. Join history and write your name in a book that has been there since 1972
The 20 acre Hill Fort was built in Iron Ages (1,200 - 600 BC) to protect. Lidar data shown below for you to experience in real life

Britain’s largest chalk figure probably first created in late Saxon period (10th-11th Century). People have speculated a depiction of the legendary demi-god Hercules, an ancient fertility symbol, or even the soldier and statesman Oliver Cromwell? Another theory holds that the figure was carved around the body of a giant who was slain by local people after he terrorised the countryside
The local Brace of Pheasants Pub won Dorset dining pub of the year 2017. It serves fantastic, home cooked local produce
We had such a fantastic stay!! A few days away from London, completely offline was just what we needed. This was definitely one of the most unique but best experiences. The cabin completely exceeded expectations, there’s everything you need to keep your mind busy without the need to use social media!
The silence. For most of my three days here, there has been complete and total silence. So much so that I am now used to just the wind, the sound of the eagles, the roar of the fire. It is phenomenally tranquil, and that solitude allows for an absence of distractions that creates immense stillness.
Thoughts on my incredible stay in this little slice of heaven. I wasn’t looking for cozy and homely, I was looking for grand views. And man do these windows do that. They made me feel like I was immersed in stunning landscapes, and any time my mind wandered, I was transported to the hills and the sky.
Tom's cabin was lovely, thoughtfully designed with everything you could need being off grid and remote. We really enjoyed our stay, the view was amazing.
I very much enjoyed my stay here in the Eco Cabin . It’s the perfect place to rest and relax. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The quiet location and beautiful views were great. The cabin itself is nicely designed and has been thoughtfully equipped by Tom.
The cabin is well equipped and in a beautiful location. Stunning countryside and villages around, and just a short drive to the coast. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, outdoor trip.
